I no longer want to be affiliated in any way with fics. I hate the place and its admins who seem to enjoy joining with trolls to abuse its users. There will never be another release of Raptor. Go to other chess servers screw FICS. I will leave this around in case anyone finds it useful but I am done with it for good.
And this Slek that tried to befriend me then whined to admins after harassing me and created countless dupes is the cause of it. The jerk only logs in without timeseal to avoid dupe detection and has created countless dupes to harass me, and likely many others as well. Fics admins side with the troll, and not the one who has spent many many man hours on interfaces for the place over the years ... so fuck FICS. I will never log into it again. I encourage you to do the same and find a better server. Fics is garbage when trolls can manipulate admins and run the show.

Currently I am working on release 1.0. Features include:
- Bundled stockfish 6.
- Makeover of Chess Analysis tab. Now shows best 5 moves.
- Makeover of the Bughouse tabs.
- Timeseal 2
- Lots of bug fixes. (including the elusive timeseal bug).
- Removal of features that nobody ever used.
- Tweaks that I have been meaning to do for the last few years.
- Inclusion of all chess sets in the expansion pack.
- Added more chess square backgrounds.
Raptor has recently moved from google code to github. If you are a former contributor please let cday know your github user id on fics and I will gladly add you to the project.
Raptor is in need of some contributors in the following areas. If you would like to help contact cday on fics. Currently the project needs:
