Farama-Foundation/Multi-Agent-ALE

Warlords lives not implemented

Closed this issue · 1 comments

In Multi-Agent-ALE, an agent being killed off is assigned -1 lives. In general, 0 lives means you don't have any more chances, 1 life means you have 1 chance to die, etc, so -1 means you are dead.

This is a critical feature for Joust, maze-craze, mario-bros, wizard of wor, and warlords, all of which one agent may be killed off, and the other agent(s) can keep going.

This is implemented for every environment except warlords.

I tried for several hours and could not figure out which parts of the atari console RAM correspond to a player being killed.
