FoNDUE stands for FOrmes Numérisées et Détection Unifiée des Écritures. It is a project funded by the Faculté des lettres of the university of Geneva and the COINF of the same university. The deployment of the Geneva instance has been made by Pierre Künzli, Christophe Charpilloz and Jean-Luc Falcone of the SciCoS team and Simon Gabay from the DH department.
It uses eScriptorium, an open source project developed by the EPHE in collaboration with the INRIA. The open source HTR engine behind eScriptorium is Kraken.
If you want to use the pipeline with a notebook, follow the instructions here.
This repo aims at helping local users of FoNDUE. They can find informations about HTR solutions in Geneva.
-
A tutorial for eScriptorium can be found here in French and here in English.
-
Using the cluster is also possible to benefit from advanced paramaters. A tutorial can be found here.
