This is a simple network traffic logger, which logs the network traffic of one network device, and prints summary information for the last 30 days.
First install Rust, e.g. from https://rustup.rs. You can build the program with cargo build --release.
For creating the log, start it with the network interface and log it to a file:
./release/networktraffic -i eth0 > log.txt
This creates a log file, with the number of bytes sent and received for each minute, like this:

To show the network traffic for the last 30 days, call it with the log filename as an argument:
./release/networktraffic -f log.txt
