you need to make sure that the submodule is installed after checking out this repo. after the clone, do the following:
git submodule init
git submodule update
cd nextholiday
git checkout master
then, anytime you update the submodule, you just run the following:
cd nextholiday/; git pull ; cd .. ; git add nextholiday/ ; git commit -m "updating nextholiday" ; git push
