Practice project - Converts images to binary and back

Here's a step-by-step breakdown of the conversion process:

Load the image: The image is loaded using the Python Imaging Library (PIL).

Extract image information: The image's format (e.g., JPEG, PNG), size (width and height), and mode (e.g., RGB, grayscale) are extracted and stored in a dictionary.

Convert the image to bytes: The image's pixel data is converted into a bytes object using the tobytes() method.

Encode the image data with base64: The bytes object is then encoded using base64, which converts the binary data into a text string composed of ASCII characters. This makes it easier to store and display the data in a text box.

Package the image information and data: The image information and base64-encoded data are combined into a single JSON object. This ensures that all necessary information is retained for converting the data back into an image later.

The reverse process takes the JSON object containing the image information and base64-encoded data, decodes the base64 data back into a bytes object, and reconstructs the image using the stored image information.

This conversion process allows you to work with images as text data, making it possible to display, copy, and manipulate the image data within the app.

This really doesn't have a purpose beyond practive for me. I did think it had potential to be used for machine learning as in it might be fun to experiment with training it on binary data, clip data, and image data, but that's just brainstorming fun projects for practice. Nothing more than that really. My projects won't every lead anywhere. Well, I guess a few have, and my concactenator is super useful for me lol. In any case, I wouldn't expect much from this. The binary data is massive and it's way easier just working with the actual image. But fun thought experiments I try to make a reality are how I learn best lol. Again, don't use this unless you understand it's a lot of data you're draging around for now reason and the potential use is fairly limited. It does accurately recreate the image from the binary data. That's actually cool. I'm happy it worked, I figured it had to be possible.
