⚠️. Problem

Dementia is a disease that affects memory, thinking, and the ability to perform everyday activities. In most cases, people with dementia need someone to help them with their daily activities. The number of people with dementia is growing rapidly, but there is little national provision for them and they rely on informal caregivers such as friends and family. However, due to their livelihoods, it is often difficult for caregivers to provide continuous care, resulting in “wandering” issue among people with dementia, who are a high-risk group and whose disappearance can lead to death, so there is an urgent need to build a dementia elderly care infrastructure for their basic safety.

Escort is an app that allows people who have family members with dementia or who want to help seniors with dementia to sign up as companions on the app, creating a global network of people and its own hotline.
