Building-with-background-and-gradient

This project was the second project compiled by Grace and Tiago in the Microverse HTML/CSS section of the course work. It involved cloning an apple page. The project contains a wrapper with a background image, a slide with images, and a footer. The page contains a navBar with a special background gradient color.

Capstone-project

This project is built using Html and CSS, Bootstrap CSS framework, flex and grid positioning. Users are allowed to search by venue and location.

In this project, I built a Simple Restuarant Page App using webpack to practice DOM manipulation.

Ruby_capstone

A scraper developed in Ruby. Web scraping refers to the extraction of data from a website. I chose this website because my phone got spoilt and I decided to check eBay for new Samsung phones.

sign-up-form

The focus of the project is to clone a mint sign-up-page. This gives us better insight into how to create forms.

Thenext-web

This project is a clone of a responsive web page, The Next web. In this project, we made use of media queries to target different screen sizes, grids, flexbox, and position elements on the page correctly.

Todo_app

In this project, I built a simple Todo App using Webpack and ES6 by dynamically creating a majority of the DOM elements. Local storage was used to save the user's session.

Weather_app

A weather app built with javascript that pulls from the OpenWeatherMap API. I used the API using Async/Await to work with promises using the fetch function. Users are allowed to search for and view the forecast worldwide and toggle the data in Fahrenheit or Celsius.
