I recently completed a virtual internship at KPMG, provided by Insidesherpa, where I worked with Sprocket Central Pty Ltd. My main task was to analyze their customer and transaction data to optimize their marketing strategy.
In the Data Quality Assessment module, I identified various issues in the datasets. These included value inconsistencies, missing information, errors in data input, and inconsistent product IDs. I proposed solutions such as automated input systems, additional data collection, allowable value checks, and investigating the purpose of product IDs.
By addressing these data quality issues, we laid a strong foundation for effective analysis. In the next module, Data Insights, I will be diving deeper into the datasets to extract valuable insights. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting project!
