While doing a literature study on Ontologies I came across OM. It's really great, multi-purpose and extremely useful.

May I request you to kindly Submit at LOV Suggest

Thanks for your hint! :)
Hopefully you can help me. I've dived into LOV before, but it appeared it wasn't clear whether the namespace abbreviation 'om' of OM should be changed. I've indicated that I can't do that, that I'm afraid of any (unforeseen) consequences, apart from that it has to do with identity of OM.

Hi Hajo

RDF Validator Shows:
RDF Load Error
An attempt to load the RDF from URI 'http://ontology-of-units-of-measure.org/resource/om-2/' failed. (Cannot open stream.)

Also it doesn't load in WebVOWL.

I am assuming that the file is in .ttl as per the download link.

The ontology is in the file om-2.0.rdf:

I could parse it.
I see that the prefix doesn't appear

Can I submit to LOV on your behalf if you agree? (I haven't submitted yet)

Meanwhile, we can try to discuss what may be best prefix eg OM or om. I could try to take suggestion from a friend who has done this process of successful LOV submit.

The prefix should be om, for reasons mentioned above.

Extremely happy to inform that LOV team has included OM ontology to LOV. The namespace prefix assigned is "oum".
