Describe the bug
Gave the HD Soft Fork experimental a go, setup flight as planned. Cross-checked fuel quantity before departure a few times (as I do for all aircraft) and saw nothing flag up. All fuel was in as planned by Simbrief. I added 0.3 tonnes and rounded this figure up to the nearest hundred to ensure a more than sufficient reserve should it be required. Departed as planned, after running through after-takeoff flows and checks, I visited the progress page where I was shown the predicted arrival fuel to be held at -10.3 tonnes. Very weird but this figure was going down, thus I left it alone till it settled. It ultimately showed a predicted fuel quantity of -6.3 tonnes on arrival which was very weird considering I had departed with more than sufficient fuel. Now, this issue of course left me with the choice of leaving the progress page alone and considering it just a small issue but risking running out of fuel or diverting upon reaching MLW limits. Looking for the more realistic element I did divert. I did bring up the issue with other people who also told me of them experiencing similar issues with unrealistic fuel consuption and planning in the HD 787. Essentially the way many worked around this was added high excess amounts of fuel to account for the issues with the fuel systems in the 787. I understand as of now there isn't an option to add winds to the FMS which would presumably (and understandably) make the fuel forecasts in the FMS slightly inaccurate but the fact it has been setting me back a lot more than that (6.3 tonnes in this case!) hints to me the issue lies further beyond that. This is a great aircraft though and I just wanted to bring this up as it is a huge part of flying the aircraft in a realistic manner! Thanks for all you do!
Expected behavior
I would've expected to be able to reach the desired aerodrome without having to divert despite carrying more than sufficient fuel on board. I understand without features (such as winds in the FMS) this may be more difficult. However, of course, we shouldn't be carrying too much excess fuel to ensure complettion of the flight as this may lead to issues such as departing over the MTOW, for example.
Steps to reproduce
I would say setup the flight per usual, depart for a medium/long-haul destination with a normal amount of fuel as would be planned for that destination and note how fuel consumption and predicitions potentially show up in an inaccurate manner.

This issue is quite widespread, was discussed with some other people who too mentioned of the presence of such an issue. I normally worked around it with excess fuel on board but it's still quite prominent and has become much more significant in the latest Soft Fork making the aircraft unflayble in many instances. Too much excess fuel would (as you know) bring about many operating issues and challenges
