About the book

a-Shell is a terminal emulator for iOS/iPadOS, where you can run Unix commands.

This document is a tutorial for newcomers to know how to do various things on this app, from editing text files to compiling big projects.

The tutorial is still in progress. Anyone willing to is encouraged to contribute to this document. See contribute-to-the-book.md for details.

If you know little about a-Shell, you can start by reading README (1).md.

{% hint style="warning" %} Some parts of this doc are NOT stable. As a new-born document I chose to expose all unstable parts to the readers since they have been under development rather than release them after strict tests so that you can see newest changes at all times. Each unstable part will be marked with a warning hint. {% endhint %}
