In this project, I built a Telegram Bot that generates motivational quotes and Jokes that can be initialized on the command line / terminal where it sends motivational messages or Jokes to a specific user on his or her telegram account

Getting Started

This is an example of how you may set up your project locally

• Clone the repo by running https://github.com/Henryhaulka/Telegram-Bot Or download the zip folder

• Run cd telegram_bot_ruby in the terminal

• Make sure you have ruby installed locally run ruby -v

• To start the bot run ruby bin/main.rb in the terminal

• Navigate to your telegram account

• On your telegram account search for @HaulkaBot

• Then press the /start button or type hello and follow the steps given To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.

Installation

Add following line to your Gemfile:

• $ bundle

Or install it system-wide:

• $ gem install telegram-bot-ruby

Setup

Just clone or download repo and run locally on your machine
