Confirmatory rsync after the first completed:
# rsync -av A.B.C.D:/mnt/omero/ ./

total size is 744,257,544,400 speedup is 154.76
That's a lot of filesystem metadata!

The cache is also synced, which means apart from IDR/idr.openmicroscopy.org#78 this is now ready to go live
