Rethink mappings to "basic cohort attributes"

Opened this issue · 1 comments

GECKO terms like "aims and objectives" and "location" (e.g., the location in which the cohort population is) seem like they are cohort metadata items, rather than terms that should be mapped to individual data dictionary items.

I think this is true for all the terms in the "basic cohort attributes" branch.

I'm wondering if we should add these to the Metadata table as True or False fields? Or even fields that can be filled in? It would make sense that all cohorts have aims and objectives, and all cohorts have a location or locations in which their population is based. None of this is currently captured.

@rosibaj this may result in a change (if we decide to move them around) to how these variables are tracked in the cohort JSON so let's keep in touch about that.
