Sounds

Sounds is an interactive sound overhaul mod, it is inspired by Effective and is partially feature-complete compared to ExtraSounds.

This mod's amazing configuration system and it's super intuitive configuration screen is thanks to Yet Another Config Library

Sounds (literally)

Sounds can be configured to be dynamic, the mod will use properties such as the item or block type to determine a suitable sound.

You can also configure the default pitch and volume of the sound, or whether the sound should be enabled in the first place.

Currently the following sounds are available:

Pick Block

When you use the "Pick Block" keybind, a sound effect will play. This sound is dynamic by default - so the properties of the block you have selected will determine what sound will play.

Hotbar Scroll

When scrolling across the hotbar, a sound effect will play for every slot you scroll over. This sound is dynamic by default - so the properties of the block/item you have scrolled over will determine what sound will play.

Inventory Open

When opening an interactible in-game screen, such as an enchanting table, or book, a sound effect will play. This sound is dynamic by default.

Inventory Close

When close an interactible in-game screen, such as an enchanting table, or book, a sound effect will play. This sound is not dynamic by default.

Inventory Scroll

When scrolling in the creative inventory, a sound effect will play. This sound effect cannot be dynamic.

Item Copy

When cloning an item in the creative inventory, a sound effect will play. This sound effect can be dynamic.

Item Delete

When deleting an item in the creative inventory, a sound effect will play. This sound effect can be dynamic.

Item Drag/Place

When dragging or placing an item in an inventory, a sound effect will play. This sound effect can be dynamic.

Note: This isn't just in the creative inventory, the image is an example of an inventory. This can be a chest, barrel, etc.

Item Drop

When removing an item from your inventory, a sound effect will play. This sound effect can be dynamic.

Chat Message

When you recieve a chat message, a sound effect will play. This sound effect cannot be dynamic.

Chat Mention

When your username is mentioned in a chat message (excluding your messages), you will be pinged. This sound effect cannot be dynamic.

Chat Typing When typing into the chat, a sound effect will be played for every keyboard press. This is super satisfying and you're very sad if you turn it off.
