PSCollectionView: An Objective-C repository from IamAliSufyan

What is PSCollectionView?

It's a Pinterest style scroll view designed to be used similar to a UITableView.

It supports Portrait and Landscape orientations.

I built this as a hack to show my friends. Any suggestions or improvements are very welcome!

Coming soon... A fully functional demo app.

What is PSCollectionViewCell?

It's the equivalent of UITableViewCell

It implements base methods for configuring data and calculating height

Note: You should subclass this!

Just open and run in simulator, it works on both iPhone (2 columns) AND iPad (4 columns)

ARC

PSCollectionView, by default, is not ARC ready.

However, there is an 'arc' branch that has been converted for use with ARC projects.

How to use:

Here's an example of creating an instance of PSCollectionView

Setting number of columns

// Specify number of columns for both iPhone and iPad

    self.collectionView.numColsPortrait = 4;
    self.collectionView.numColsLandscape = 5;

Add a loading view or label

UIView *loadingLabel = ...
self.collectionView.loadingView = loadingLabel;

Add an empty/error view or label

UIView *emptyView = ...
self.collectionView.emptyView = emptyView;

Add a header view

UIView *headerView = ...
self.collectionView.headerView = headerView;

Add a footer view

UIView *footerView = ...
self.collectionView.footerView = footerView;
