rgdal package is no longer supported

Hello,
I am trying to install the usefulplants package. It has a ´rsdm´ dependency that at the same time has a rgdal dependency.
ERROR: dependency 'rgdal' is not available for package 'AlphaHullRangeModeller'
ERROR: dependency 'rgdal' is not available for package 'TDWG'
ERROR: dependencies 'AlphaHullRangeModeller', 'TDWG' are not available for package 'rsdm'
rgdal package is no longer supported: see https://r-spatial.org/r/2022/04/12/evolution.html#why-rgeos-and-rgdal-will-retire
Is there any plan on updating rsdm/useful plants to sf/terra dependecies ?

I am aware of this issue and am currently working on solving it as soon as possible, hopefully by the end of this week. I will post again to let you know once it is done.
