This is a hack for the built-in Windows 7 (and Vista) card games that allows for arbitrary framerates and update rates.
It's not perfect, I think there might be some frame pacing issues that cause the games to feel choppy at times, but it's better than being stuck at 30 FPS.
It also enables playing the games on systems that lack the necessary software licensing policies.
This hack only works on 64-bit versions, but it shouldn't be too difficult to adapt for 32-bit versions.
- Download the latest release
- Extract it somewhere
- Copy the files to the desired card game's folder in
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\
- The files should be placed next to the
.exe
- Overwrite any files if asked

to whatever framerate and update rate you want (default is 60)
