FINCHECK

Fincheck is a personal finance control application. Create Bank Accounts, Transactions and Categories to manage your income and expenses. I MADE SOME CHANGES LIKE S3 BUCKET FOR CATEGORY IMAGE UPLOAD AND CATEGORIES CRUD. ALSO MADE DARK MODE AND TRANSLATION FOR EN-US AND PT-BR.

The design is available on Figma.

Running the app (Back End)

First, clone the repo.

git clone https://github.com/ItaloCovas/fincheck.git

Let's setup our API, first enter in /api folder.
Install the dependencies (I used yarn but you can use whatever you want, just make the changes)

yarn

Fill the .env variables (In .env.example you can see them)
Run PostgreSQL with Docker

The database can be launched locally with a Docker Container.

Check the official documentation to install the Docker Engine.

docker run --name pg -e POSTGRES_USER=root -e POSTGRES_PASSWORD=root -p 5432:5432 -d postgres

Run migrations

npx prisma migrate dev

Running the app (Front End)

Make sure you are inside /client folder
Install dependencies

yarn

Fill the .env variables (In .env.example you can see them)

I made many changes (Categories CRUD with S3 Bucket Image, Dark Mode, Translation) in the original project and I'm still developing some features.
