Description:

  • This project is for keeping of jobs for a fleet of trucks
  • The user/management team is able to add new jobs to the queue, and update the comments as the job progresses.
    • The user is also able to close job tickets.
  • This was a first project to use Python and Django.
  • This is a sister repo to DjangoShed

Task List:

  • Add user authentication
  • Make homepage a list of each all jobs by Truck below the form
  • Link each Job to another component showing which trucks are listed with the job id.
  • Make each tool link to a separate page showing which trucks should have that tool.
  • Deploy backend on heroku
  • Change API calls to link new backend location
