Nova Scotia Population by County Visualization

This project visualizes the population growth data for the province of Nova Scotia, Canada. The data is sourced from Statistics Canada, and covers the years 2014 to 2021.

The aim of this project is to provide an easy-to-understand visualization of this data, allowing users to explore and compare poulation growth in various counties over time. The visualization is designed to be accessible to a broad audience, and is optimized for viewing on desktop and mobile devices.

Usage 📉

To view the visualization, the visualization will load automatically and allow you to explore the data.

The visualization consists of a small multiples line chart showing the population growth in different counties over a period of time. The .pbix includes option to toggle between birth and death rates across each counties. There is also a bar chart showing the actual rates for each year.

Development 📉

This project was developed using SQL, Power BI, Excel. The NSBirthDeathProject.pbix files can only open on Power BI.

To modify or extend the project, simply edit the source files in NSBirthDeathProject.pbix.
