Hi! This is a repository for a simple discord giveaway bot, this discord bot is made with discord.js and an npm package called discord-giveaways. If you would like to know how to install and setup this discord bot head to "How to install?"

How to install?

Using git clone:

Step 1: You have to install NodeJS and Git.

Step 2: Create a folder (preferably on your desktop).

Step 3: Open Command Prompt. Step 4: Type in: cd path/to/your/discordbot/folder. (Example: C:\Users\Ghaku\Desktop\discord-giveaway-bot)

Step 5: Press enter.

Step 6: After that type in: git clone https://github.com/ghaku/discord-giveaway-bot.git

Step 7: Press enter.

Ending Point: When you see all of the github files in your folder this means that you installed the bot succesfully.

Alternative 1: Downloading the repository as a zip file. Which can be done here.

Usage + Setup

Step 1: Open config.json and change the following values:

Value What does this value mean?
"token": "YOUR_TOKEN_HERE" This is what discord will use to log into your bot.
"prefix": "YOUR_PREFIX_HERE" This is what your bot will respond to.

Step 2: Run setup.bat.

Step 3: Run start.bat And you are done! You have successfully made your discord bot run. If you are having any troubles refer to the GIF below or open an issue.

Contributing to the repository
