This is the completed code for Building an Ionic Application with Angular
It is a Photo Gallery app that allows you to take photos from your device’s camera and display them in a grid and store them in your device.
- The references resources were added to Tab 1 (Tab 1 was renamed Resources).
- DevFest 2022 information and registration link were also added to the tab Resources.
- Example of the ionic chip component alerting you to add photos to the Gallery.
- Tab 3 was renamed Host.
- The Host tab has my social link information and a link to the presentation slides
- Run
npm install
from the project root. - Run
ionic serve
in a terminal from the project root.

- In the root of this project you will find the
www
folder that you can deploy to a hosting service
- In the root of this project you will find the
ios
folder. This is the standalone project that can be edited with Xcode in your Mac computer. - Run
ionic cap open ios
in your terminal to open the project in Xcode.
- In the root of this project you will find the
android
folder. You will find it in the apk folder in the root of this project. This is the standalone project that can be edited with Android Studio in your computer. - Run
ionic cap open android
in your terminal to open the project in Android Studio.
I included an APK of the project that can run on a mobile device. To run the apk in your mobile device you will need to download it directly in to your mobile device.
- Allow Chrome to install unknown apps by going to Settings > Apps > Menu > Special access > Install unknown apps.
- Download an APK file and open it to install it. Alternatively, transfer the APK Installer from your computer using USB.
