What does the package do? This package gives the head, tail, dimension and summary of the dataset; it can also generate a report in text format.

How to install it?

  1. Install devtools.

  2. Install the package from github.

  3. Change the working directory to the one in which you have the dataset in CSV format.

  6. Set the working directory to the folder which contains the dataset.csv file : setwd("path/to/file/dataset.csv")

  7. Test the package : CSVDescriptor("dataset.csv") this will describe the function in the Rstudio console.

  8. To store the data report in a text file : GenTxtReport("dataset.csv") this will generate a text file that will contain all the information about the dataset. This text file will be stored in the same directory as the dataset.csv file and will be named as Report.txt.

  9. To get a PDF report do : `GenPdfReport(""). The pdf report will be stored in same directory as the Report.txt, and will be named as Report.pdf.
