- git init - initialize a new repository
- git status - see the files (what's tracked, in staging)
- git add (filename) - specify what will be committed
- git commit -m 'add feature' - makes the commit of the staged files
- git log - shows a log of all of the commit
- git show -> show changes made in the most recent commit
