Username Generator

This project is a simple username generator application built using Next.js and the OpenAI API.

Requirements

First, you will need to clone the project to your local machine. You can do this by running:

git clone https://github.com/JeremiahDMoore/username-generator.git

Navigate to the project directory:

cd username-generator

Then, install the dependencies:

npm install

Before running the application, you will need to set your OpenAI API Key. You can set this as an environment variable:

export OPENAI_API_KEY=your_api_key

Please replace your_api_key with your OpenAI API Key.

To start the development server, you can run:

npm run dev

The application will be available at http://localhost:3000.

To build the application for production, you can run:

npm run build

This will create a .next folder which contains the built application.

To start the application in production mode, you can run:

npm run start

You should have run npm run build before this command.

The application will be available at http://localhost:3000.
