This module adds some of the most notable, historic events that affected the United States as events in each individual's facts table. Each event includes a short name, brief description, date or event, and wikipedia link for more information.

Installation

  • Download and unzip the release package.
  • Place the webtrees-historic-us-events folder inside modules_v4 folder of your webtrees installation.

Enabling the module

  • Login as a webtrees admin and open the control panel
  • Click the "historic events" link under the "individual page" section
  • Check the enabled box for "United States Historic Events" and then click "save"
