A quick intro to some of the fun features of Python not covered in CS1. For Spring semester 2018.
Here's a breakdown of the topics covered by the demo scripts:
- classDemo.py: Static vs instance in Python, special class functions, docstring comments, map, and comprehensions.
- flaskDemo.py: Just the basics of Flask.
- requestsDemo.py: Making GET and POST calls with requests.
- cmdDemo.py: Using docstrings and a dictionary of functions to create a command line interface in a modular manner.
