HTML Elements and Tags Lab 1

This lab introduces you to the fundamental building blocks of HTML webpages. You'll experiment with creating a simple webpage structure and observe how basic code translates into visual elements on a web page.

Developer Objectives 📋

  1. File Navigation: Navigate to index.html.
  2. Boilerplate Generation: Use shortcuts to generate HTML boilerplate.
  3. Giving the document a title: Use the given title for the document.
  4. Header Tags Insertion: Insert appropriate header tags based on their function.
  5. Paragraph Tag Insertion: Insert a paragraph tag with the given copy.

Attention: When you complete a task, put an x in the middle of the brackets to mark it off your ToDo list.

  1. Navigate to the index.html file.
  2. In line 1, type an exclamation point, wait to see the prompt, then hit enter.
  3. When you have your boilerplate code, in the head element, locate the title element and enter Fibonacci Review.
  4. Inside the body tag, put the appropriate header tag for a main header with the copy: You Can Count On Fibonacci
  5. Under your main header, copy and paste the subheader using the appropriate header tag with this copy: Fibonacci’s Food Truck: Where Flavor and Sequence Unite!
  6. Under that, put a paragraph tag under that and copy and paste: At Fibonacci’s Food Truck, every bite is a delightful journey through a sequence of flavors that leaves you wanting more. Just like the Fibonacci sequence, each dish builds upon the last, creating a symphony of taste that is both unique and familiar. From the Fibonacci Fries to the Golden Ratio Grilled Cheese, every item on the menu is a testament to the beauty of blending mathematics with gastronomy. Fibonacci’s Food Truck truly delivers on its promise - a culinary experience you can count on!
  7. Make another subheader with this copy choosing the correct header tag and use this copy: The Golden Spiral: A Journey into the Fibonacci Foodtruck
  8. The first paragraph in the section contains the copy: The Fibonacci Foodtruck is not just a name, but a symbol of the harmonious blend of mathematics and culinary art. The name ‘Fibonacci’ was inspired by the famous Italian mathematician, Leonardo of Pisa, also known as Fibonacci.
