Open Docx In Okular

Opens docx files in Okular (a pdf viewer for linux)

Requirements:

  • okular (script is easy to edit to change it to a different pdf viewer)
  • libreoffice-writer

Install:

  • move open-docx to ~/.local/bin/
  • move open-docx.desktop to ~/.local/share/applications/
  • Use your desktop environment to make open-docx.desktop the default association for docx files.
