Installation

Prerequisites

  • Node.js (v12 or later)
  • MongoDB
  • NPM (Node Package Manager) or Yarn

Steps

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/yourusername/quantum-crispr.git
    cd quantum-crispr
  2. Install backend dependencies:

    cd backend
    npm install
  3. Install frontend dependencies:

    cd ../frontend
    npm install
  4. Set up environment variables: Create a .env file in the backend directory and add the following:

    MONGO_URI=<your-mongodb-uri>
    JWT_SECRET=<your-jwt-secret>
    PORT=5000
  5. Start the backend server:

    cd backend
    npm start
  6. Start the frontend server:

    cd ../frontend
    npm start

Usage

Once both servers are running, you can access the application at http://localhost:3000.
