rtl8821cu-5.4.1-kernel-5.0

8811cu,8821cu chip linux driver 0bda:c811 source from realtek, maybe work for above chips for the newest linux kernel 4.19-5.0. tested it works on fedora 29 workstation. tenda U9, DWA-17C, Mercury UD6 etc may work. linux kernel 5.0 remove VLA, original source files contain VLAs, this drv just:

  1. add "-Wno-vla" to Makefile to supress warnings, and
  2. change a function parameters in os_dep/linux/rtw_android.c. search for access_ok to modified it before compiling. see fix better wait for realtek to release new. but just work fine.

an improved stability got by a fix:

modify core/rtw_wlan_util.c:
	source = rtw_zmalloc(2048);

4493	if (source != NULL) {
4494 +#if (LINUX_VERSION_CODE >= KERNEL_VERSION(4, 14, 0))
4495 +	len = kernel_read(fp, source, len, &pos);
4496 +#else
4497	len = vfs_read(fp, source, len, &pos);
4498 +#endif
4499        	rtw_parse_cipher_list(nlo_info, source);
4500		rtw_mfree(source, 2048);
4501	}
...

without this fix, system would get unresponsive randomly in about 30 minutes.
