The Majuli is a holy island of the state of Assam,India and in 2016 it became the first island to be made a district in India. The island of Majuli is famous for its temples called sattras. There are 22 such sattras. The following project was done as part of the UCNET Lab @IIT Guwahati. The PhD scholars of the lab had acquired the photos during their research survey. The VR environment has been created using some of those photos acquired at that time.
