I have analysed the dataset to identify which were the popular genres over the years and whether budget and popularity levels are dependent according to the data available in the dataset.
- Calculated the count of movies per genre every year and the popularity of different genres over the years.
- On standardizing the calculated popularity identified the popular genre.
- Standardized the budget and popularity and cleaned the data according based on the availability of required values and from calculated the pearon’s coefficient.
- Based on the Pearson's coefficient decided upon the relationship between a movie's popularity and it's respective budget.
