This project is to introduce the bias and variance in machine learning and approaches to deal with them. Some sample codes are provided for demonstration purpose.
The dataset used in this project is Fashion MNIST [Xiao et al., 2017]. It will be used for classifying fashion apparel images into one of ten categories:
- T-shirt/top
- Trouser
- Pullover
- Dress
- Coat
- Sandal
- Shirt
- Sneaker
- Bag
- Ankle boot
