This is an application for pitching anything in 60 seconds.

Description

This is a flask application that allows users to pitch anything based on the categories. Categories can be added by the user or they can pitch from the available ones. A user as well can comment on a pitch of other users and can also like or dislike a pitch. A user must log in for him/her to be able to do this.

Setup Requirements

Web Browser
Internet Connection
Flask 1.1.2
Python 3.9
Terminal

Installation

Git clone this repo in your computer's terminal, then cd into the you cloned:

git clone https://github.com/Kipkorir-Gideon/60secs-impression.git

Start server using virtual environment by:

python3.9 -m venv --without-pip virtual

Activate virtual environment:

source virtual/bin/activate

Install the requirements:

curl https://bootstrap.pypa.io/get-pip.py | python

pip install --force-reinstall flask==1.1.2

Run application in live server:

chmod a+x start.sh

./start.sh

View the application in your browser:

http://127.0.0.1:5000/
