If you want to contribute to this repo you need to do so through git. This is the only way I will accept changes in the future. You will nee to read a little bit of GitHub's documentation. You will likely need to use git-bash or a Git GUI client like GitKraken.
Clone Your Fork:
git clone git@github.com:yourusername/handbook
Add Remote Upstream:
git remote add upstream https://github.com/chaos-indivisvm/handbook.git
Rebase and Create a Branch for your changes:
git pull --rebase upstream master
git checkout -b descriptive-name
Once you have edited files, you need to stage them for commit. If you're not using a text editor with Git Integration, you can do this like so:
git add /path/to/file.md
Provide a Commit Message:
git commit -m "Tyro didn't help me with this"
Push your Changes:
git push
Pull Request:
Return to this Page, there will be a button that says CREATE PULL REQUEST! It is Green, click it and submit.
