Python script that simplifies file exploration, listing, and content display within a specified directory.

List Files and Display Contents

This Python script allows you to list files in a directory and display the content of text files. It also excludes image files and SVG files from being displayed.

Usage

  1. Make sure you have Python installed on your system.

  2. Open a terminal or command prompt.

  3. Navigate to the directory where the script is located.

  4. Run the script with the following command:

python list_files.py /path/to/directory

Replace /path/to/directory with the path of the directory you want to explore.

Exclusions

By default, the script excludes folders starting with .old and the .git folder from the exploration.

Displaying File Contents

The script will first list all files in the directory, skipping image and SVG files. Then, it will display the contents of text files in UTF-8 encoding.
