Finding New Career Paths with SQL

The SQL language is widely used and can be applied to a variety of technical fields such as data warehousing, application development, data science, and more. Instructions

This repository has folders for each of the videos in the course.

Folders

The folders are structured to correspond to the videos in the course. The naming convention is CHAPTER#_MOVIE#. As an example, the folder named 02_03 corresponds to the second chapter and the third video in that chapter.

The SQL Careers Assessment.pdf document is a copy of the Assessment/Chapter Quiz you will take inside of the LinkedIn Learning video platform after the first chapter. The Skills Inventory Worksheet.pdf is for you to fill out while working through the course.

Installing

  1. To use these exercise files, you must have the following installed:
    • A Google Cloud Platform account. Some costs may apply if you do this. Otherwise, download mySQL on your local machine and create your own tables.
    • Python 3.8 on your local machine
  2. Clone this repository into your local machine using the terminal (Mac), CMD (Windows), or a GUI tool like SourceTree.
