Steam OpenID Resource

This resource was created to better let users new to the Steam OpenID possibilities understand them and get into development quicker.


Usage:

  1. Download the ZIP file
  2. Extract or open as you see fit
  3. Upload all 5 files to a web server with PHP installed and enabled
  4. Open apikey.php and change the $api variable to your own API key found here
  5. Open auth.php and change the $redir variable to which page you wish to redirect the user to after login/logout
  6. Open example.php and follow the instructions within
  7. Open http://your-site.com/example.php and try it all out

Notes:

  • No need to modify OpenId.php or cache/example.json
  • If you wish to add more options to the getInfo.php file, feel free to do so. You can read the example.json file if needed
  • If you have any questions, feel free to contact me and ask
