An unofficial Violet/Twilight colourscheme for chipsynth SFC 1.023
DO NOT CONTACT PLOGUE IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THIS SKIN. They will not support it.
NOTE: Use at your own risk. If chipsynth SFC is ever updated in the future, this skin's update basically depends on if I've updated it to support those new features. :)
How to Install:
Step 1 - Extract the archive
• Windows
Extract GUI_USER folder and all its contents into the chipsynth SFC root directory. By default it should be C:\Program Files\Plogue\chipsynth SFC\
• Mac
Extract GUI_USER folder and all its contents into the chipsynth SFC folder. By default it should be HDD > Library > Application Support > Plogue > chipsynth SFC
Step 2 - Change the skin in csSFC
Go into the VST's settings, and select the USER skin. This should initialize the skin.
Features
Samples Tab - Featuring the same layout as the original, but with a sleeker background, a more contemporary and sleek backgrounds
Channels Tab - Completely redesigned analogue style channels tab view, inspired by the great SSL consoles of the past!
Mod Matrix - The powerful modulation matrix from the original returns with a sleeker look and a tips section for information on how to use it!
Steps Tab - Completely redesigned to give you a more zoomed in representation of your envelope!
SPC Player tab - Redesigned to retain that analogue console look with a new zoom feature!
New Info Screen! - With an inspired old-style text based display that shows you all your channels' values. This screen is either nostalgic for you, or PTSD-inducing, depending on your level of experience with SNES music. :)
New Colour Schemes! - Choose your top and bottom colours to customize your experience. :) Save by saving a default preset in the Preset menu. What will your favourite combonation be?
That's it! This skin took me 2.5 months to complete. I hope you enjoy :)
