"Explosive Expedition" Character/RPG modification based on the character Dinah Wyck from Dynamite Duchess/Appetite For Detention/Carnival of Souls, for GZDoom. No mod-specific ACS unlike Aetherius, only ZScript :V

"Explosive Expedition" is a character/weapon gameplay mode based around the character of Dinah Wyck from the "Dynamite Duchess" games released in 2021, by Impie, who is also the creator of other Doom addons and levelsets like "Strange Aeons", of which my other mod Aetherius has a compatibility pack with. :P

The mod itself was my idea separate from anything of his based on me thinking about a character like her fighting Doom [and other idTech1 games'] enemies with some upgrades like RPG mechanics and new weapon "abilities", etc., and is not part of the official "canon" of his series (though it was given his blessing to exist publicly), and there is little to any new "story" in this one [nothing that applies to future titles of his involving the character, at least, being an alternate reality after the events of AFD :P], mostly just gameplay and added mechanics, and also for me to learn and use ZScript more efficiently and without the burden of ACS reliance unlike Aetherius had to [due to ZScript having not yet existed when Aetherius began].

This aims to entirely avoid ACS for gameplay effects if possible, and relies very little on DECORATE, as all of the code ported from the original games of Dinah's origin for this mod were eventually converted to ZScript fully. This also has a LARGE amount of Event Handler use, especially concerning weapons like the SuperVac, for example. :P

I also don't intend to heavily modify existing monsters in the way I did for Aetherius, though a seperated monster pack using the same "evolutions" as that appeared in Aetherius [with upgrades to their abilities] with Level-based code trimmed out is a possible idea for a compatibility pack for this and maybe other people's gameplay mods in the future. :P
