error when create input data file for ModEM. from edi files

I need some help, please

when I created an input data file for 3d inversion(ModEM), I get this file with the error word"Tra": I didn't know why I get this word ??

when I inverse this file with ModEM 3d the code indicates that the error began on the line where ''Tra'' appears

Hi, I don't know too much about mtpy, but ModEM does not allow site names with blancs. Hope this helps, Volker

thank you sir for helping, but in the header of the created input data file explain the type of every column:

Period(s) Code GG_Lat GG_Lon X(m) Y(m) Z(m) Component Real Imag Error

I think there is no column for the name of the station !

Hi yes try removing spaces from your station names, if you check your edi files what is the station name? I think MTPy might be cutting the name short, do your station names in your edi files all start with "GCA MT Tra"?
As for the header, mine has that too and it runs fine, that row is commented anyway. I think the "Code" column is for the station name.
