Chat Bot Web Application
The Chat Bot Web Application is a web-based interactive chatbot that utilizes Large Language Models (LLMs) and Langchain technology to interact with documents and data managed on the Admin Dashboard. Getting Started
To set up and run the Chat Bot Web Application, follow these steps:

Pinecone Vector database: Note that you should have an already prepared index on Pinecone, or use the admin portal application for creating an index and uploading data on there.

Clone the Repository: Clone this repository to your local machine.

Install Dependencies: Ensure you have Python and the required libraries installed. Use the following command to install the necessary dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txt

Set Environment Variables: Create a
.env
file and set the following environment variables:FLASK_SECRET_KEY=your_secret_key_here
Replace
your_secret_key_here
with a strong random key for Flask session management. -
Load Admin Users: Prepare an
users.json
file containing the admin user data, and place it in the root directory of the application. The JSON file should have the following format:[ { "username": "user1", "password": "password1" }, { "username": "user1", "password": "password2" }, // Add more users as needed ]
Make sure to replace
user1
,user2
, etc., with actual usernames, andpassword1
,password2
, etc., with the passwords of the respective users. -
Start the Application: Run the Flask application using the following command:
python app.py
The application will be accessible at
http://localhost:8081
.
Usage
Chatbot Interaction: To use the Chat Bot Web Application, go to http://localhost:8081/chat
. Start interacting with the chatbot by typing your queries in natural language.
