FinderSidebarWidth is a Finder SIMBL plugin which automatically resizes the sidebar width.

Motivation

There is a lot of confusion about how to persist the Finder sidebar width.

Worry no more: with this plugin, your Finder sidebars will always be 150px wide.

Requirements

  • OSX 10.7 or newer
  • SIMBL 0.9.9

Installation

Download the latest release and copy FinderSidebarWidth.bundle to /Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins

Uninstall

sudo rm -r "/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/FinderSidebarWidth.bundle"
