Description

Visual Sorting is an application that visualizes the behaviour of common sort algorithms in parallel. The concept of VisualSorting is somewhat similar to sound-of-sorting developed by Timo Bingmann.

Features

  • Multiple sort algorithms can be compared concurrently.
  • Common sort algorithms are available like Quick sort, Merge sort and Bubble sort.
  • Start/Stop/Pause and step by step execution functionality.

Maven Build

First, make sure that Java SE Runtime Environment 11 and Maven are installed on your machine. Then run maven package from the top level directory of this repository. After successful build, you should be able to launch the application with the following command java -jar target/visual-sorting-0.2.jar.
