SEO Tools for Sanity

Background

When proposing backend solutions for a client website many will request something like WordPress as this is a system they are familiar with. One of the tools that is available for WordPress is Yoast to give the user feedback on the SEO of the current page. This plugin can bring those insights into Sanity for your clients so you can finally start developing those projects with Sanity. (it is powered by YoastSEO.js)

How to use

  1. Install the plugin using the Sanity CLI sanity install seo-tools
  2. Configure your document with the SEO tools The result of the content(doc) function should represent the final result of but does not have to be 100% accurate. It should act as a real-time representation of the resulting content

  1. Make sure to enable CORS for the Sanity domain otherwise the plugin won't be able to fetch your content.
