As someone who enjoys playing Valorant and has a passion for data, I found multiple faults in the integrity of the algorithm used on tracker.gg, and sought to make one that's better. This repo contains the code for that. This is currently a WIP, though you can find current level of functionality in the 'commands.txt' file which is provided in this repo.

Requirements

💭 This project requires Python 3 and a number of Python libraries. If you don't have Python downloaded, you can find it here: https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-3112/

👉 The IDE, or text editor you use is entirely up to you, though I have created this project using 'VIM' and 'VSCODE', mainly. If your only goal is to run the tracker, you do not need one, but if you would like to contribute or improve upon it, you may do so, provided you fork this repo and just give me a shoutout!

🔎 You can look in the requirements.txt file for a comprehensive compendium, and you can install the required packages by running the following command in your terminal:

💻 pip install -r requirements.txt

⛔ If this throws an error, you likely don't have PIP. If you aren't familiar with PIP, all you really need to know is that PIP is a package management system used to install and manage software packages written in Python. It stands for “preferred installer program” or “Pip Installs Packages.” In layman's terms, it makes your life easier by allowing you to deploy installations from the command line. Though, to be honest, PIP is automatically installed with Python 2.7.9+ and Python 3.4+ so you should have it.

⛔ If you don't, launch the command prompt window, press Windows Key + X, and click run. Type in cmd.exe and hit enter. On MACOS, simply navigate to the terminal app. Once you are in your Powershell, run this command in your terminal: curl https://bootstrap.pypa.io/get-pip.py -o get-pip.py

‼️ I recommend using a virtual environment to manage your Python dependencies. You can create and activate a virtual environment by running the following commands:

💻 python3 -m venv env source env/bin/activate

‼️ After activating the virtual environment, you can install the required packages by running: 💻pip install -r requirements.txt.

‼️ From there, simply run the command: 💻python3 script.py and the rest should handle itself. Happy analyzing!
