Welcome to SM-Soft-Translation - a repository for translating Sao Mai center for the blind's software!
We are a small non-profit organization for the blind based in Vietnam and have very limited budget for our activities.
We rely on donations and grants to provide support services, maintain and develop new assistive tools.
All of our services and products are given free of charge for the visually impaired people.

We would like to call for volunteers to help us translate our software applications into your local languages so it could help more visually impaired users around the world.

Please read the introduction about software that we currently own if you don't know them before:
This repository has been created, which hope the translation stuff could be more convenient to community, especially GitHub user. However, if you're non-GitHub user, you can still contribute your translation by other way.
If you are GitHub user, we suggest you to fork this repository to your account, clone it to your computer, then do the following:
- Make a new branch for your translation, then switch to that branch.
- Follow the quick instruction on the program in which you want to translate:
- Open the corresponding folder. For example, translator of Sao Mai Braille should open folder called SMTranslatorForSMB, then start translating.
- Commit to your repository, then create pull request to contribute with us.
Right now this repository doesn't have translation files for Sao Mai Android apps. Those will be updated soon.
Non-GitHub user, please follow the instructions from our website about apps or program you want to translate into your local language, then send us your translated files:
- Translate Sao Mai Typing Tutor (Windows version)
- Translate Sao Mai Braille (Windows version)
- Translate Android Apps (SM Music Reader and SM Braille Viewer)
